Out of sight, ancestors’ gaze remains.
On a trip to Ireland, I was reminded of ancestors left behind, ancestors who left to survive, find a better world, and ensure we survived. What do we carry with us in homage to their sacrifice? Thoughtful moments on the shore where they may have once walked, their hidden gaze remains.
In this weary world, refugees and emigrants suffused today's thoughts.
