November Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “3”

Magnificent Horse Sculptures Rendering Passersby Speechless

This sculpture sits proudly opposite the Bangalore Turf Club Race Course and those passing by literally become speechless at the details. And a wee bit embarrassed, too when they notice some of the…er… contours.

At some point, someone even managed to sneak in the idol of the goddess of prosperity up there. How and when they did that, I have no idea.

I do recall that it seemed to take forever to unveil these beauties and then, one fine day, there they were, rearing up to the sky, wild-eyed. Quite a majestic sight!

I find it exciting to come upon larger-than-life statues and love to take photos of them. In South India, we find quite a few massive 100-foot statues of deities. I’ll share them soon.

Thank you, Mary Chang Story Writer for this wonderful publication that’s a visual treat! Enjoying the Power of 3 Prompt this November! I loved the three apples! Can you imagine I’ve never seen a live apple tree?
