September Six-Word Photo Story Challenge: “Shadows”

A silent shadow on a walk.

I am a shadow. I don’t talk. I don’t plan. I just walk along with you to see where you go. Sometimes we walk on the beach. Sometimes we walk on jungle paths. Usually, we walk with our husband and his shadow. Sometimes we walk joyfully with our grandchildren and their shadows to find tadpoles and snails. Sometimes we walk slowly on nature trails enjoying the light and the shadows of trees. I like tree shadows. They are quiet comforting shadows.

Just keep walking. I like the company wherever we go.
