And — trust me, I did gasp!

This is my 4th story for Mary Chang’s April challenge. My 6-words are a play on the artists who created this mural; TrustMe and Gasp.

One of the things I’ve made an effort to do with all the street art photographs I’ve taken is to source and credit the artist(s). I’ve spent hours scouring websites to find out who the artist(s) is/are for many of the works I’ve seen.

Sometimes, I find nothing. Other times, I’m rewarded with a biography, as was the case for these two artists.

I’m intrigued Gasp went from a rebellious graffitier to being part of the movement legitimizing street art.

Ross Liew is the man behind TrustMe. His biography portrays his passion for art, community and education, which he manages to expertly intertwine into his work.

Enjoy the magnificence of street art, whether admiring, photographing, or sharing. Stake out some walls in your hood and join in on the challenge!
