Why Blend In? Stand Out Instead!
My family thinks I am just a little crazy — because I tend to notice minute details. Oh, sometimes the details are not so minute — they’re obvious, like in the photo above. And of course, they shhh me all the time. If I had a penny for all the times they shushed me, dot dot dot.
So, here is the thing. Shopping for veggies is a happy trip for me. Okay, I confess shopping is a happy trip. These days I confine it to window shopping and photo-taking.
And then, I come across this unique tomato shaped like a . . . what? What did you say? It made me laugh. And when I held it up, it made everyone laugh.
I asked, what does it look like to you?
And the answer was a lot of giggling.
Veggies come in funny shapes and sizes. One family favorite is colocasia — and it comes in interesting forms.
