I needed to stop, reflect — wow.

It doesn’t get that cold in Vancouver unless I’m on the ski slopes. I go for regular walks at this local trail and that chilly January winter day was the first time I saw the waterfall frozen. The wonders of water — I forgot about my troubles and sat there, watched, and listened.

Submissions are now open for the April “Reflect” Challenge. The deadline to submit your story is NOON, April 30, 2024, Pacific Standard Time. Can you tell a story in six words representing “Reflect” inspired by a photo you snapped? A 2-minute backstory to accompany your six-word photo story is optional.

Gratitude to my two favourite people on Medium, my dear co-editors, Sandi Parsons and Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles — the bright, smart, sassy beauties that make our pub shine. I couldn’t run this pub without you!
