Think a Baby Boomer, a Millennial, and a Gen Z’er can’t agree on anything? What if they had to — and actually enjoyed it?
In the Tech department, building strong, multigenerational, and multiethnic teams goes beyond daily tasks. A few summers back, we started bringing everyone together for informal gatherings outside the office. This space for connecting outside work sparked authentic camaraderie, allowing team members to share insights, explore different perspectives, and bond over surprising commonalities. In meetings, their diverse viewpoints translated into lively discussions and innovative solutions, but those connections deepened into trust and mutual respect over meals.
Our team-building approach ensures everyone feels a true sense of belonging. Objectives and key results include a unique measure: every team member, at every level, is encouraged to demonstrate how they’ve contributed to the growth and development of their colleagues.
