Making Waves
December Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Snow & White”
Make some waves! Seas the day!
Okay, not the best of puns. But seas the day sounded great in my head. So, we were on a trip to the Andaman and Nicobar islands. This was day 2 of our trip when we took off in a boat from the jetty Port Blair towards Ross Islands — see those trees in the distance? Yes, there.
I’ve always been fascinated with ships. When I was in school, I sketched them all the time. Made models. And when I saw this one, my heart leaped with joy! So magnificent, so BIG! I tried really hard to get a good pic — because we were moving pretty fast with the water splashing all over us!
Best thing about the islands? We didn't carry much with us except money and a couple of bags filled with eats — so didn’t much care that we got drenched, then dried out, then got drenched again! Such a carefree trip!
Thank you Mary Chang Story Writer for this amazingly challenging prompt. You’d think it is easy to skip the snow and grab a bunch of white things . . . perhaps it is, but not when we want to be super-creative. ❤
Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles ❤ Did you smile today?
One of the reasons I write is to support underprivileged children. Would you consider buying me a cup of coffee? ☕ You can also use Ko-Fi. Thank you so much!
My photo-buddies have been super-busy presenting some fabulous photos and captions — check them out!
