Mannequins need the day off too!
December Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Snow & White”
Oops! Caught with our pants down!
We were in Pune for a week, accompanying Sury who had official work. Son and I tagged along with our own agenda of visiting the Film Institute and a few other places. On one of those days, the three of us made a sightseeing plan and after a great trip to the Sinhagad Fort and Panshet Dam and lake, we wound the day up by stopping at a large mall, hoping to get dinner. We didn’t as most shops had already closed.
This one caught my eye — mannequins stacked against the display glass and not even artistically. My heart went out to them. We heard that the shop had been closed for weeks now. Couldn’t help clicking a picture.
Who knew it would come in handy for the challenging December prompt by our amazing Mary Chang Story Writer? I am having a good laugh looking at my collection for this month! Thank you Mary — I want to roll on the snow in your post!
One of the reasons I write is to support underprivileged children. Currently, the Medium Partner Program is not open to writers based in India. Would you consider buying me a cup of coffee? ☕ You can also use Ko-Fi. Thank you so much!
