It started, like most things do, with one.
The dragon was how I’d always pictured the dragons in Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern, so naturally, I whipped out my credit card and took it home.
A dragon sitting on a hoard of books was next — what dragon-loving librarian could walk past that? (Hint, not this one!)
I always talked up the new (and old) dragon books to my students, so it wasn’t a surprise when I started receiving dragons as end-of-year presents, and my collection grew.
Then this see-through dragon egg started appearing in my social media feeds. I resisted for a long time but, as you can see, I caved eventually!
