Nature’s Wrath
Six Word Photo Story: Freestyle
From falling leaves to fallen tree
I can’t find a photo for nature’s art. But I found one for nature’s wrath.
A devastating typhoon hit Manila on September 15, 2018. Its strength was more than enough to uproot an old camachile tree. Also known as Manila tamarind or Madras thorn.
That Camachile tree was with us for decades. Firmly planted on the sidewalk between the main road of the subdivision and our house.
For many years, it served as a shed to the establishment across, to the people who wanted to rest, and to us. Though many times, its falling leaves were annoying. Just missed a day of sweeping, the leaves piled up.
But like in everything in this world, its existence has to end.
In just one typhoon, it became a fallen tree.
