One June Night
June Six Word Photo Story Challenge: Black & White — Freestyle
The magical light we all crave
I fondly remember evenings spent with my kids in this little family-owned pizzeria. It sits at the end of a block in a little California mountain town.
At the moment, I’m living outside of the capitalist system—unemployed and unable to splurge on dinner—so it’s been a while since I’ve dined here. Nonetheless, the stringed lights and magical mural—even in the back alley—are inviting.
Although the full moon shining above didn’t make it into this frame, it colored my mood. The strawberry solstice moon reminded us that our dreams will come true if we put in the work.
I’m dreaming of a time beyond war, suffering, and greed.
Everyone should have camaraderie, joy, and comfort—regardless of their circumstances. What might a world without money look like? Could we all enjoy magical evenings basking together in hopeful light? Might there be pizza and love for all?
