Space Threw a Rock At Us

June Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Rock”

Meteorites: uninvited guests from outer space.

The sign under this exhibit says:

Mundrabilla Meteorite
Fragments of the Mundrabilla Meteorite made of dense nickel-iron survived an intense atmospheric journey to the earth’s surface. This one is on loan from the Western Australian Museum.
You can touch it!

With permission granted, I ran my fingers over the space rock. (Let’s be honest, given it wasn’t behind glass, I was going to touch it even without permission …)

This month, we want you to dig deep and share your best ‘rock’ photos and stories — we don’t mind if you strike a pose like a rockstar, or take a candid snap of a rock you just tripped over. This is your moment to ‘rock’ the lens.

Check out this month’s challenge below!
