Is there anything cuter than ducklings?

I live on a small lake that is home to Muscovy and Black-Bellied Whistling ducks. Each morning, I scatter duck feed. Sometimes, there are ducks waiting for breakfast; other times, they arrive later.

I am always honored when a mother duck brings her ducklings to eat on our shore. These are Muscovy ducklings, but a Whistler showed up with a baby last week. The Whistlers are not as trusting as the Muscovies and very rarely bring their offspring to dine on the shore. However, never does a year pass without visits from Muscovy ducklings.
