Six Word Photo Story Challenge: Freestyle
Just casually dangling above the stadium.
Photos are a static moment in time. What this photo doesn’t show is that seconds after it was snapped, one of the instructors gave me a shove, and I went swinging out across the grass 42 meters in the air.
Which is NOT what I signed up to do. Lean over the edge with no handrails!! That’s what’s in the brochure!! … but nevertheless, it was brilliant.
Bring It On is an annual fundraising challenge for Cystic Fibrosis WA. This year, I signed up to take part with team Coughin’ Cheaters (the golden oldies with CF in Western Australia) and do the VERTIGO challenge from the top of Optus Stadium.
We came, we climbed, we peered over the edge, we dangled, and team Coughin’ Cheaters raised over $10,000. Not too shabby for a day out!
