November Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “3”

Three heads that make me smile.

Van Gogh told his friend Paul Gauguin, that Sunflowers had a special significance for him — they communicated gratitude.

Sunflowers are among Van Gogh’s most famous paintings. He painted them in Arles, in the south of France, in 1888.

My grandmother was born in 1888, and I remember her growing Sunflowers in her cottage garden in 1960. She said they always made her smile. Me too!
