Now, those who remembered are gone.

When I was younger, my Gran made semi-regular stops at the cemetery. After we tidied Pop’s grave, she would tend to her parents. The older part of the cemetery (pictured above) was run down and neglected compared to the newer graves.

Forty years later, not many headstones remain in the older part of the cemetery. It no longer looks rundown; instead, it’s neglected.

This month, we want you to dig deep and share your best photos and stories — don’t forget, no splashes of colour; we’re only accepting black-and-white shots for this month’s challenge! Besides, who needs the distraction of colour when you can look classy and mysterious? It’s like the little black dress of the photo world — timeless, elegant, and always in style!
