July Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Cute Creatures”
From dark depths, it rises. Beware!
Come close, and I will tell you a tale. Closer. Closer. CLOSER.
Too close, back off a little.
The region, known as Lounge Room, is mostly a peaceful place. The small wooden mountain is topped with a device that shows great wonders and sights and sounds from all around the globe. The great wooden mountain lies to the side of the small mountain and its wondrous device. You’ll find the written knowledge of our world on the shelves of the great wooden mountain.
Yes, it does sound idyllic. But wait, because in the small landmass the locals call Comfy Bed, a monster lurks. He wears brown armour with a white band and strange markings painted across his front. Sturdy legs can often be seen underneath the armour. When his snout appears, long fangs can be seen.
Behold the terror of the Blankie Monster, for he is fierce and will drain the watering hole with great gulps. But he is also wasteful and will deposit globs of slobber in the surrounding area.
Toxic, you ask? Perhaps. Best steer clear of his tongue, just in case.
