The Tasty Indian Traditional Food is a Balanced Meal

My delightful Indian thali food experience
I recently went to Agra and stayed in Fairfield by Marriott Hotel with my soul daughter and her 6-year-old daughter.
At lunchtime, on the first day, we were delighted to note that they had different varieties of food but they wanted to serve us the Indian traditional thali lunch. At first, I wondered how I could finish such a big meal because I do not like to waste food but they did not mind our sharing a thali.
As you can see our traditional way of eating is very balanced. If you look at the thali, it has salad which has fiber and is so important for good health. In India, we have the unique aroma of our spices. We have different kinds of food and each dish is made with different spices.
Our staple food is rice and roti which they served us with our vegetables and lentils. We also had homemade yogurt which we call Dahi. It is nutritious. We had a little white butter sprinkled on the vegetables and lentils that made it tasty. There is usually Indian homemade cheese called paneer. This is also always served along with the vegetables.
