June Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Rock”
Tree: Stay! Rock: I’m never leaving!
This charming sight of a tree hanging on to a rock even after the area had been cleared for the garden caught my eye when I walked around the IISc campus in my city. There are ancient trees here that are usually left undisturbed because it costs more to mess with them than to leave them alone. One has to admit they look interesting.
It looked like rock and tree were locked in an eternal dance embrace. This encouraged me to observe the foliage and landscape even more closely, and I am glad I did over the few weeks I visited the campus. The peace that nature’s harmony gifted me is priceless.
Nature rocks, doesn’t she?
I actually wanted to six-word it as ‘I wanna rock with you’ but you know we can’t bum off a line from a song lyric or quotes by someone else, no matter how perfectly they might fit the photo. *Halo adjustment moment*
Also, no need to make fun of me for not posing with the tree.
