October Six Word Photo Story Challenge: Scary

Stone by day. Alive by night

This gorgeous exhibit is from the Morni Hills Fort. Morni Hills, fondly referred to as the Switzerland of Haryana, is a sleepy hill station in Panchkula, very close to Chandigarh, India. The Shivalik range of the Himalayas extends all the way to Morni.

We stopped here on our way back from Shimla and were blown away by the ride to the top of the hill. Thick fog surrounded us and we were grateful when we finally made it to the government resort safely. After checking into our room, we fortified ourselves with a few cups of masala chai and set off to explore the area. The hotel staff recommended Morni Hills Fort.

Not expecting much, we headed to the fort. The route was gorgeous, lush with greenery. And we were completely stunned when we reached the fort. Beautifully maintained and turned into a nature museum. We had the most delightful couple of hours just browsing around.

The lady in the photo set our imaginations on fire. What do you think when you see her?
