For me — the ocean. Every time.

If I feel down or need to shift my perspective, I go to the beach and look at the water. Sometimes, I do a foot dip, draw in the sand, or sit and meditate. If I make the time, I swim. Being near the Pacific opens up my happy place. 2024 was a cathartic year for me. I did a ton of self-work, which led me to a greater sense of self and self-awareness.

I feel like I’m blossoming at age 54!

Every year, I write a summary of my fitness journey and other experiences that have impacted my life, shaped me into who I am, and helped me turn my wishes into reality. My 2024 Wild Wrap-up has been published in Namaste Now.

Speaking of blooming, I’m blessed to work with two co-editors who are blooming in the writing world.

My sassy co-editor at Six, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles is the sole editor of Namaste Now, and the pub is flourishing. Vidya is a fabulous writer and also an international booster. Please check out her beautiful publication and make sure to read the submission guidelines if you’d like to submit a story.
