Wisdom Embodied in Divine Elephant Form
February Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Statues”
Universally loved deity, sacred graceful path
While I was wandering through a bustling local mall, during the joyous occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, my eyes were captivated by a magnificent sight that unfolded before me.
Installed in a prominent corner of the mall, I could see a huge Ganesha statue, around 15-feet, crafted entirely from colorful satin thread reels, exuding a unique charm that set it apart from traditional sculptures.
My mind and eyes lingered, arrested in awe and reverence for His majesty.
The sculpture, crafted with precision, became a focal point for both shoppers and devotees alike. The air buzzed with a harmonious blend of traditional chants and modern melodies.
Entranced by Ganesha’s divine grace, each thread reel seemed to tell a story, a testament to the skillful hands that had woven this masterpiece with love and devotion.
