It’s our favorite time of year when the days are longer and the streets are filled with patio dining and terraces galore. Not surprising, outdoor spaces are more in demand than ever this year. Keep scrolling for a list of some of our favorite spaces and bookmark this page. We’ll keep adding more new, outdoor spaces in SF & LA as they open (and re-open)!

Highlighting some of the best local farmers and artisan producers, The Vault bridges comfort with finesse, showcasing a wide range of both simple and elegant dishes for all occasions. With a vibrant bar and lounge offering a large selection of classic and creative cocktails, come for lunch, dinner, or drinks and enjoy an opulent experience any time of day.

The Lounge at Chambers eat + drink at Phoenix Hotel can be booked exclusively or reserved partially to accommodate groups of up to 150 people. Home of the iconic “Be Amazing” marquee sign, this room is generally the center of the action in terms of nightlife. This room also houses a DJ Booth.

The Outdoor Patio has a covered roof and in the case of colder weather, has fabric, windowed walls that can be implemented. There are also commercial grade gas heaters to ensure that the space is cozy for all seasons. It has its own private outdoor bar that can be reserved exclusively for your guests. This area is also available in conjunction with the larger outdoor courtyard area that includes a pool and pool-side cabanas which can accommodate virtually any type of production — from weddings, to live music events. There is also an option to add some or all of the hotel rooms to your rental for a multi-day experience.

As one of San Francisco’s newest and most sought after outdoor venues, Rooftop 25 at 25 Lusk offers outdoor seating with upbeat music and a casual vibe perfect for kicking back with friends and family. Our oak wood-fired oven serves up delicious artisanal selections including hand crafted pizzas, burgers, and pretzel bites. Lighter selections such as tuna tartare and our house salads are also favorites. The full bar offers frozen and specialty cocktails, wines and a great selection of ice cold local beers.

Rooftop 25–25 Lusk

The Bar and Patio at Alexander’s Steakhouse provide the perfect atmosphere for a cocktail hour or a sit down dinner. Lush jasmine surrounds the open-air outdoor patio, along with the peaceful sounds of courtyard fountains. This unique spaces offers you and your guests a relaxed setting for networking with colleagues, employee appreciation, or client receptions.

This charming garden oasis at STK — Los Angeles offers the perfect space for an intimate, outdoor event. Partial covering, string lighting, a toasty fireplace and verdant greenery create a perfect ambiance for special occasions.

The Arts District Patio at Inko Nito — Garey Street is adorned with beautiful greenery to create an intimate feeling for any event. This space is perfect for up to 38 guests seated, 50 guests for a standing cocktail reception and 35 guests for a reception with stations.

Dine among the energy of the city in the wraparound patio at Nick & Stef’s Steakhouse. Sheltered by uniquely designed umbrellas, the patio is set with inviting furnishing welcoming lingering conversations over cocktails and bites.
