Hawksmoor (NYC)
Hawksmoor was inspired by a labor of love to find the best possible beef and perfect the seemingly simple art of cooking steak. The menu revolves around all-natural beef from family-run farms, many based in upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and New England, simply seasoned with flaked sea salt and seared over live-fire charcoal. The restaurant is nestled in the historic United Charities Building, steps from Gramercy Park. Closed from public view for over a century, the sleek space boasts a 26-foot vaulted ceiling, a thirty-five-seat bar, and two private dining spaces.
Sfoglina — Van Ness (DC)
Sfoglina is named for the female artisans and Italian cultural icons that carry on the tradition of rolling sheets of pasta by hand with a rolling pin, a technique passed through the generations. Hilda and Jesse is a brunch, dinner, and event space located in San Francisco’s North Beach, offering modern #funluxury.
