Hawksmoor was inspired by a labor of love to find the best possible beef and perfect the seemingly simple art of cooking steak. The menu revolves around all-natural beef from family-run farms, many based in upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and New England, simply seasoned with flaked sea salt and seared over live-fire charcoal. Nestled in the historic United Charities Building, steps from Gramercy Park, the space was closed from public view for over a century. Hawksmoor boasts a 26-foot vaulted ceiling, a thirty-five-seat bar and two private dining rooms, perfect for smaller parties.

Michelin-starred Francie, after much delay, debuted in December 2020, and is the first independent collaboration between Chef-Owner Christopher Cipollone (Piora, Cotogna) and Owner-Operator John Winterman (Bâtard, Daniel).
