Cocktail Classes with Hospitality-Entrepreneur Eamon Rockey

Eamon is a hospitality entrepreneur and established leader in the NYC cocktail community. He also is the founder of Rockey’s Milk Punch: a labor of love produced and bottled in Brooklyn, NY. Eamon was first exposed to Milk Punch by a friend who had reproduced a century-old recipe; he was hooked immediately, and began experimenting with variations on the technique and seasonal flavor combinations. Rockey’s is the result of this creative process. It is delicious simply poured over ice, blends perfectly with any other spirit, and is at home in nearly any cocktail.

Eamon’s cocktail classes utilize Rockey’s mixed with other more traditional ones to breathe new life into tried and true cocktails or spark new creations. Choose from a variety of custom cocktails based on your spirit preferences. The Rockey’s team will send you all of the spirits, a bottle of Rockey’s and depending on your budget the mixers and garnish. Eamon has been known to throw in a special gift to keep things interesting! Prices start at $80 per person and go up from there. All classes last 60–90 minutes and provide ample time for questions about the industry, cocktail history, as well as other recipes that the group might want to explore. Cheers!

Restaurant Without Walls from Juliet in Boston

Brian Samuels Photography

Since the onset of social distancing, Juliet continues the production of narrative-based, multi-course dining experiences, remotely, through its “Restaurant Without Walls” program: part dining, part cooking class, and part storytelling. Local to the Boston area, each participant will get a box of chef-prepared ingredients to cook a three course, restaurant-quality menu at home. The cooking is 80% complete when packed in the kit, and is designed for even the most nervous home cook to complete with professional guidance from our chef on camera. Once together on zoom, all participants will cook along with the chef, learn a little bit about their restaurants, the inspirations behind the menu, and get to try a few new cooking techniques.

The overall tone is intentionally casual; part cooking class, part dinner party, as a way to encourage connection across your team, despite necessary social distancing. Juliet’s team is excited to work with you to create custom experiences for your group — whether that looks like a full three course meal, educational wine tasting, or something a little bit different. Cost is based on your final menu selections and there is a $500 minimum spend. Ingredient lists and recipes will be shared if your team members are outside the Boston area.
