Check out our picks for the best places to dine into 2018 — featuring Chef-designed prix fixe menus and special offerings at some of NYC’s best venues. BEDFORD & CO.

Rated by Michelin as a top spot to spend New Year’s Eve, this swanky venue in the Renwick Hotel is offering a premium 5-Course prix fixe menu, followed by a masquerade party with open bar and a DJ spinning all night. Those looking to end 2017 with a real big bang can purchase the Ultimate VIP Party for up to 20 people, complete with bottle service and a dedicated cocktail server.

3-Course General Admission menu at $150 per person, Ultimate VIP Party for up to 20 at $9,600 for the evening.

GABRIEL KREUTHER

If you’re looking to go all-out this New Year, look no further. The French-Alsatian tasting menu at Gabriel Kreuther will include luxe, beautifully composed dishes like a foie gras terrine, venison loin and chestnut tortellini. There will also be a rolling caviar cart, Champagne and live music at the bar all night long.

The 8-Course Luxury prix fixe at $255 per person available from 5–6:30PM. The 5-Course tasting menu at $215 per person available from 7:30–9:00pm. The 8-Course Luxury prix fixe (late seating) at $475 per person available from 7:30–9pm.

MAMO

This SoHo hotspot for those looking to see and be seen will have a DJ spinning all night, luxe decorations and a glamorous atmosphere to help you ring in the new year in style. Not to mention that French-Italian charm at Mamo that will have you feeling like family before the ball drops!

A 4-Course $125 prix fixe menu for the first seating at 6:30PM, followed by the 4-Course prix fixe menu with a champagne toast for the second seating at 9:30PM.

ETCETERA ETCETERA

Looking to avoid the crowds but still get in on the fun? Join Etcetera Etcetera at 9:30PM on New Year’s Eve for a trip down memory lane to the times when wigs and bell bottoms ruled NYC. Chef Marco and Daniele will be whipping up a decadent, 70’s-inspired menu and the EE team will deck the halls with balloons, party favors, hats and tiaras. Toast the new year at midnight as you watch the ball drop on the big screen.

5-Course prix fixe at $130 per person, starting at 9:30PM.

FINE & RARE

Nothing says New Year’s Eve in New York like live jazz, luscious drinks and fine food. Join Fine & Rare for a 4-course menu created by Executive Chef David Arias. If DJ’s aren’t your thing, this classy celebration is the perfect answer. The party starts at 9PM and goes ‘til 2AM.

4-Course prix fixe at $200 per person.

FUSCO

Join Fusco for an extraordinary night of Italian luxury featuring the very best caviar, truffles and optional Ca’ del Bosco wine pairings. If you’re serious about food and looking for a sophisticated way to ring in the new year, Fuscois the place to be.

Early seatings with a $90 prix fixe from 5PM ’til 6:45PM and late seatings with a $165 prix fixe from 9PM ’til 9:45PM.

CHEFS CLUB

Celebrate the last night of the year and the last night of all-star chef JJ Johnson’s residency at Chefs Club. The later seating is already sold out, but you can still snag a reservation between 5:30 and 7:45PM. Choose between “99 Problems,” Johnson’s 3-course tasting menu or go all-out with “I Got 5 On It,” which includes all 17 dishes on the menu.

THE CANNIBAL BEER & BUTCHER

If you’re not feeling super fancy, head over to The Cannibal Beer & Butcher for an informal 3-Course prix fixe menu that doesn’t skimp on decadence. The evening begins at 9PM with cocktail hour followed by a menu stacked with foie gras, truffles and oysters, plus plenty of drinks. End with a festive champagne toast at midnight. Or, better yet, rent out the winterized Beer Garden for your gang and enjoy the party in privacy!

3-Course prix fixe with drinks included at $125 per person.

TARALLUCCI E VINO (UNION SQUARE)

Tarallucci e Vino’s “BUON ANNO” celebration will be popping at both the Union Square location and the NoMad location. What better way to ease into il nuovo anno than with good wine, good food and good friends? A traditional Franciacorta toast plus an Italian surprise at midnight, plus a DJ spinning will keep spirits high through the night.

A 3-Course prix fixe at $85 per person served for the early seating, and a 5-Course prix fixe at $105 served at the second seating.

CLAUDETTE

For a cozy and charming New Year’s Eve celebration, make your way to Claudette in Greenwich Village. This French bistro will transport you straight to the countryside of Provence. Enjoy a 3-Course prix fixe from 6–9PM or a 5-Course menu with a champagne toast from 9PM onwards. Bonne année!

First seating 3-Course at $75 per person. Second seating 5-Course at $150 per person.

FITZCARRALDO

The Brooklynites out there won’t want to miss Fitzcarraldo’s epic New Year’s Eve bash in Bushwick. The events starts at 8PM and guests will be seated at 9PM for a 5-course Italian feast. Afterwards, the party continues with DJ Dirt Pony and special guests on the decks. Party on!

The $75 5-Course prix fixe dinner begins at 8PM ’til late.

BOBO

Enjoy a classy French prix fixe as you contemplate all the great things you’ve accomplished in 2017 and what’s to come in 2018. Bobo’s mouthwatering year-end menu features New Year’s Eve staples like black truffle and lobster and unique flourishes like ‘Venison Wellington.’

The $150 prix fixe menu will be served from 9PM ’til late.
