Happiness is Momentary

Happiness is momentary,
It never lasts long.
Yet, it ain’t ordinary,
But, something always goes wrong.
It feels as if sitting on a high chair,
Floating high in the air.
Beware! You can fall anytime,
Whether or not you know your crime.
Sorted it may look to you,
But those moments will be really few.
You’ll think you’ve achieved all you dreamt,
Soon you’ll wonder, where it went?
Happiness can’t be trusted upon,
It’ll surely betray & never stay on.
Trustworthy are the sorrows instead,
They are loyal & will continue ahead.
Worry not there’s a solution, wow!
We know what’s gonna happen now.
Don’t get too attached to that temporary joy,
The pain becomes bearable & you don’t break like a toy.
