Connecting the Indonesian archipelago through state of the art shipments and logistics
Growth of e-commerce industry in the developing countries such as Indonesia has rapidly inclined since 2010. Ease of entry into this industry has made a significant segment of the citizens to create their own startup company. This has caused the large growth in the total amount of deliveries each year.
In correlation to the growth of the logistic market and new player entries, competition between logistic companies has intensified which leads to companies to offer more and more “value-added services” for their consumers. These services include one day delivery, end to end service and locker to locker in order to cut operational costs.
Despite the intriguing offers, most of them come attached with various terms and conditions and hence, complexities for the consumers. Word play such as “same-day delivery” could mislead consumers to think they can receive the goods within the same date, when in fact it is a 24-hour delivery promise. The same applied to “end to end service”, that as a prerequisite of the consumer sending a total of at least 5 packages at the same time and a pick up, delivery schedule that is designed at the company’s convenience.
These issues have lead to consumers’ time being controlled by the logistic company, as their activities are delayed due to the uncertainty of their package arrival. This is where Paxel comes in to fix the delivery service issues that arise within Indonesia.
A customer-driven delivery service that allows control and convenience.
With that vision in mind, the Paxel team approached us, SixtyTwo, to work hand in hand towards building a new culture within the delivery service industry. We help define their entire design experience from customer to courier, feeder, admin and agent portal. This will be a long and exciting project for us to create a connected ecosystem that will help us change the behaviour of delivery service in Indonesia.
Paxel is a digitally enabled delivery service company that is targeting the ecommerce market, both online and offline businesses. We believe the senders and receivers deserve to have the power to deliver and receive packages at their convenience. No more vague delivery prices, no more consumers delaying their schedule just because of uncertain delivery times.
Easy to ship
Create a shipment in three simple steps. First of all, you as a sender need to put in your package destination and the shipment fee based on the package size will appear for you to choose. You can share the shipping fee to the receiver. We believe both sender and receiver need to have transparency about shipping fee.
The next step involves filling in the information about the receiver and the package. In the Summary page, you can do the final checks on your shipment information. After confirming your shipment, please keep doing your activity or simply sit in a couch and wait until our courier picks up your package according to the time that you have allocated at your convenience.
At your most convenient time
Delivery service companies in Indonesia haven’t been fulfilling the flexible time needs of their consumers. Date of delivery are usually settled and agreed upon, but consumers always fall victim to the uncertainty of exact time of day of the delivery, leaving them to stand and wait with uncertainty.
As we have mentioned, we believe that your time is precious and you don’t want to spend it waiting for our courier to arrive. Therefore, with Paxel, you may control and set whenever you want your package to picked up by one of our couriers. This privilege is not available only for the sender, it is also available for the receiver too of course!
Track where your packages are
Both the sender and receiver will get continuous update on the whereabouts of their package’s location within Paxel app. The best part starts when our courier is on the way to your location, as you will get real time notifications as to the exact location of your courier. We want you to get the excitement as your courier gets closer and closer towards your location.
And please help the courier if they got lost ;)
Currently Paxel is still in its Beta stage. We will continue developing this product until one day Paxel becomes the latest breakthrough in delivery service within Indonesia.
