Skalar Goes to Svalbard
Skalar went to Svalbard for team building and meeting some potential new colleagues. 🐻❄️ We saw a fragile yet beautiful world that seems so distant to our own. The nature there is old. We saw first hand that when you drive a vehicle over the tundra, the tracks remain there for over half a century.
We saw wildlife, people and snow — northern lights and ice-but no bears (perhaps we should be thankful that we did not meet one). We went to the Russian ghost city Pyramiden where there had been a bear sighting just the day before our visit. Svalbard is a magical place, but also a fragile one. And above all, we enjoyed getting to know the area while building deeper relationships with our fellow colleagues.
