Light Paper released on August 24, 2022

Light Paper describing Tokenomics and Token Ecosystem is now available. We explained about Tokenomics such as the utility of Skeb Coin.

DAO Maker-SHO started on August 26, 2022

$SKEB SHO (IDO) was launched on DAO Maker, one of the largest Launchpads in the world. At the same time, a research page detailing the project was also published.

There were 2,078 addresses that applied for the DAO SHO and 10,025 addresses that applied for the Public SHO; expectations for the SHOs were high because the company issuing the $SKEB is popular with illustrators and has 2.2 million registered members.

Q1.Will the project be a platform where people of all cultures can have art globally?

A1.The project is definitely grown with Japanese artists and culture. However, the use of a token is definitely a start for removing the boundary of payment and will bring a global platform enabling people to enjoy art and culture together.

Q2.The problem I find in freelancing is lack of patronage. How can your platform assist content creators to get good and fast buyers for their works ?

A2. The use of tokens is really important. By integrating the crypto payment, users can easily buy tokens, which is exactly what we are going to do and what has already started to be achieved.

Q3.I am a creator of the ‘’Skeb’’ service, in which situations do you think Japanese users will use SkebCoin the most in the future? Also, I assume that SkebCoin is used by international users when they use the Skeb service, but will Japanese users (creators) use SkebCoin in the Skeb platform?

A3.There are benefits for Japanese users if they stake SkebCoin in the contract. For example, some fees are discounted or waived by holding Skeb Coin. Once you receive the payment by Skeb Coin, you can stake it to enjoy benefits. Also in future, even some artworks are restricted by credit card companies, Skeb Coin can be a solution for that. We really appreciate the users of the Skeb.

Q4. “Skeb” is a creator-focused Japanese platform, many Japanese registered users, including myself, are skeptical about crypto and NFTs. Do you plans to solve that problem?

A4. It is often said that it is difficult for many creators to use crypto, and actually there are a lot of scams. That is why we are making study contents, scam alerts etc. for beginners, so that more creators can enjoy the benefits of crypto assets in this area, so that more creators can enjoy the benefits of crypto assets.

Listed on several major exchanges starting September 8, 2022

Listing on an exchange that was on the roadmap. The primary listing was on OKX. Trading began at Uniswap on the same day of OKX, and soon after on Huobi Global and Gate.io. The following week, on the 15th, trading began on Coinstore.

Discussions with various exchanges are ongoing as well. We will increase awareness and liquidity of Skeb Coin by listing it on more exchanges.

Staking starts on September 13, 2022

We are also working on the utility of Skeb Coin that was stated in the Light paper. We first released the staking function on September 13. More information on SKEB staking is available on Medium.

Currently about 5.33M SKEB is staked. You can check the current staking quantity of the onchain data.

There are three tiers of staking participants, and higher tier SBT badges will be distributed to the top users. The design of the SBT batch is available from here. Of course there will be rewards for SBT holders, but not just on the blockchain, as we plan to distribute special gifts with more Skeb-like, illustrative contents. Click here to join Staking.

Summary

SkebCoin has been promoted through typical marketing such as AMA, listing on major CEXs, launch of staking etc. so far. We will move forward to add “Skeb-like” contents with our philosophy of “prosperity of the illustration industry”. Stay tuned!
