Hello beautiful reader, this is Drahomír, the logo designer. Welcome to the curated logo design inspiration site. Today I am going to show you how PwC changed its logo and brand identity in 2010.

PwC is the market leader within auditing, tax and advisory services and it belongs among the group called The Big 4.
The old logo, which was the the official logo until 2010, was not fulfilling all the needs of a modern logo. It was not versatile, scalable, the icon was hard to read (could possibly be read as PCw) and it was not bold enough for such a big organisation.
New PwC logo
There were obviously issues with the application of the logo as you can see on the picture above. I always found the fact that a multibillion-dollar firm using such a quirky, unfocused word-mark as its logo very weird. Anyway a total rebranding went live in september in 2010.
