Bonus #18 — Certain
During Sketching Words third round we received several texts and images that remained unpublished… One of these submissions was “Uncertainty”, a photograph taken by Alla in Tuscany on a foggy day in 2023. This image inspired Violeta to write a short text: “Certain”.

The cold is but an excuse to seek a lover’s embrace. Breathe in. Out. The sun warms my heart. Sun? Which sun?
“Take my hand, dear.”
Towards the unknown we go.
“I’m here for you.”
He is. Dance around. Our bodies become one with the trees. The fog swallows him whole. A kiss. Fingers on my face. Whispers in his ear. Peace. The sun isn’t coming out today. Hold me tight, dear.
