Camino de Santiago Portugues

Day 1

…Fun fact: I was adopted by two German shepherds. The two, male and female, were wandering along the path. At one point they stopped before me: I stopped too, and the male barked. I shitted my pants ’cause they were fucking big, but when I started walking again they let me pass and everything was fine. For no reason at all, they started following me. Mystical experience, I felt like Saint Francis. They waited and followed me for like 20 km. People looked at me like I was uncivilized ’cause they ran everywhere and everyone thought they’re mine.

But it was magical, the best bodyguards ever. I would recommend 10/10.

At nearly 1 km from my destination, a gentleman and his daughter stopped and asked me if they were mine. I explained the situation and THANK GOD they decided to help me. They called the number on the dogs’ collars and after a while the owner arrived.

My legs gave up, so I accepted a lift from the dogs’ owner. I was a bit worried…
