In the middle of the night
Music gets loud
(To suffocate intrusive thoughts)
To make you dance.

People smile around you
Their bodies move
(While you feel out of place)
While you observe their steps.

Someone raises their hands
Singing loud
(While you desire to disappear)
While you shake your head.

You close your eyes
To free your mind
(Shut up brain!)
Letting the music dance with you.
