Try to conduct your next meeting or webinar standing, and you will notice that you are more focused, balanced & more active. It’s amazing how much better our brain can function when we use our body too!
It is also very important for an online speaker to vary their voice — when you monotonous online your audience will fall asleep very fast. You can use one of the apps for singers for that — put an app in front of you and if you notice that the sound histogram becomes flat it is a signal that you need to add more variety to your voice.
If it is an important meeting do some additional preparations — make sure that you have a source of light in front of you, so you don’t have weird shades on your face from the laptop screen.
