Ski Whistler for only $40/day?!
What a fantastic day at Whistler today. So blessed to be able to live in White Rock and drive to Whistler to ski for the day. No matter how often I have made this drive, I never tire of the views.
Blackcombe was the mountain of choice today, and we were not disappointed. Mid mountain was a little hard and slick, however, up higher was super with some fresh snow. Soft and fun! Seventh Heaven provided lots of great opportunity for some freshies. The sun was shining most of the day — another added bonus. Vitamin D, fresh air and some exercise were all good for the soul.
As the season is coming to an end, Whistler offers a fantastic deal for early bird Edge Card purchases. Buy a five or ten day card by April 9th and you will get free skiing from opening day next season until December 15, 2017! We usually buy a five, squeeze in five skis before it starts, then ski our five we bought. Result? Ten days skiing for the price of five! At $400, that is $40/ski. Pretty darn good for Whistler, right?!
