1. iPhreaks

A rotating panel on this popular iOS podcast results in diverse discussions about all facets of developing for iOS. From discussing the security and privacy concerns when syncing with Cloudkit or the pros and cons of Core Data, this is one of the best resources for developers in finding out about the latest tools and approaches, getting both birdseye discussions as well as syntax discussions.

2. Let’s Talk iOS

Hosted by Sebastien Page and Cody Lee, Let’s Talk iOS comes out of the idownloadblog, the brainchild of Sebastien. Regularly over 1 hour, these podcasts are more targeted towards Apple lovers than developers, discussing app organisation, latest releases, reviews, etc. — everything Apple enthusiasts could ever want. This is a good resource for developers who want to see how particular products are received by the community, including a look at the limitations of releases and the user experience of Apple products.

Not technically a podcast for iOS developers, Orbital by Gadgets 360 comes out of India, and is all about the reviews. Some people love these sorts of resources, but they are specifically for consumers with a strong knowledge and interest in the tech within our phones.

4. It’s All Widgets — Flutter Podcast

In each episode of the Flutter Podcast by It’s All Widgets, hosts interview regular Flutter developers around the world, giving them a chance to talk about how they got into working with Flutter, their projects that they are working on and their views about working with the single codebase SDK. This is a great shortform podcast for inspiring your own developing.

5. Inside iOS Dev

Hosts Alex Bush (iOS consultant and architect) and Andrew Rohn (iOS engineer at Reddit) are passionate about developing for iOS, and provide a relatively snappy regular podcast on a range of topics. Evolving mobile architecture…problem solving in Swift…Clean Architecture — it’s diverse, specific and broad at the same time, and engaging for those who speak the language.

6. Swift by Sundell

Swift by Sundell is just that: a podcast about using Swift. This is one of the rare podcasts out there for iOS developers that discusses syntax, concepts, tools and approaches in detail. ‘Avoiding race conditions in Swift’ to ‘Building DSLs in Swift’ — this is a one-stop shop and amazing resource for developers.

The podcast is hosted by John Sundell, who is a regular speaker at tech conferences and is delivering a keynote at iOSCon 2019 in London over 21–22 March, 2019.

7. SwiftCoders: Interviews with Swift Developers

A range of hosts within a network take turns to interview a number of guests each episode, from Swift conference organisers to developers. Similar to the Flutter Podcasts by It’s All Widgets but usually 1 hours +, giving the hosts plenty of time to dive deep into the stories of their guests.

New to the iOS development world and keen to find out as much as possible? Constant Variables aims to provide a friendly non-technical deepdive into the concepts, languages and tools that drive iOS development.

Soroush Khanlou and Chris Dzombak deliver Fatal Error, a podcast that dives into the details of developing with Swift and general iOS development, such as using SwiftLint, SwiftFormats to Mutating and Nonmutating Functions. 10. More Than Just Code

Hosted by Tim Mitra, Jaime Lopez & Mark Rubin, More Than Just Code is approaching its 5th year as one of the most popular podcasts for developers working in iOS and with Swift. These guys take a look at the industry, analysing releases and news, giving recaps of major conferences, diving into tools such as React Native, while the chemistry between hosts ties everything together.
