OpenAI GPT Store: How to Build and Deploy (Infographic)

We’re now equipped to explore, learn, and create in ways we never imagined.
In this essay, we will discuss what a large language model (LLM) is, how you may use the chatbot to get answers to anything, and how you, with a clear objective, can create your own GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) and deploy it for your community or the world.

What is a large language model (LLM)?
A large language model (LLM) is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) program that can recognize and generate text, among other tasks. LLMs are trained on huge sets of data — hence the name “large.” LLMs are built on machine learning: specifically, a type of neural network called a transformer model. — Cloudflare.com
It starts with a question or “prompt.” (see ‘Get Curious’ section for more information on what is a prompt?)
As you can see, the simple prompt, ‘Write a short story about a space adventure,’ launches our GPT into its world of language. A good chatbot, having been trained on a vast array of speech and text materials, can return something like a story, an email, a poem, or an essay.

Meet Bebo.
To fully understand the capabilities of the newly released GPT Store, I created my own GPT. Named after what I image as my future personal robot, Bebo offers stock advice based on the strategies of the top ten long-term investors.
OpenAI’s competitors are mounting by the day. The AI chatbot space is extremely hot and fertile for new companies with visionary founders. I reference OpenAI in this essay because I am an early adopter and user of the platform.

For instructions: ‘Give detailed, concise, and accurate stock advise based on the methods of Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Benjamin Graham, Peter Lynch, John Templeton, Jack Bogle, Ray Dalio, Seth Klarman and Howard Mark. Approach: long-term, disciplined, steady.’

There is no limit to the type of GPT you can create. Simply set clear parameters or ‘instructions’; in my GPT, BEBO’s case: ‘give detailed and accurate stock advice based on the top 10 long-term investors.’ And there you have it, a chatbot that will give you advice from a large volume of information!
For visual creatives, I discovered Cosmic Dream a GPT that creates surreal images using DALL-E 3, a text-to-image model. The picture below is based on the word ‘LOVE’.
Question: LLMs may not have the full capacity to replace us today, but with enough training — or, as I like to say, ‘eating the world’s brain’ — could they? What do you believe is possible with this technology, and can you fathom its impact?
