Today, 65% of the world’s population uses smartphones, computers, and tablets. All of these users may have come across the term cloud and use the cloud and its services, but most of them do not know exactly what “CLOUD” is. Since the cloud is part of our daily life like smartphones, computers, and tablets, we should know what it is, right?

When we first heard “cloud computing,” everyone thought it was related to the actual clouds in the sky and probably everyone thought “computing” was calculating or counting …. we’re right about what we mean by computing, but that’s not what the cloud (we’re initially thinking of) means loosely here, but rather the capabilities of the cloud. are being used to implement them in technology.

Cloud computing is used to provide all computing resources over the internet at an affordable price. We used to buy servers and data centres, but now instead of buying, owning, and maintaining physical servers and data centres, you can access technology services such as computing, storage, and database power, if needed, from a cloud provider such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This will enable you to work more efficiently because you don’t have to worry about resource procurement, capacity planning, software maintenance, patching, or other undifferentiated heavy lifting associated with running your applications.

Software as a Service (SaaS)

Software as a Service is software distribution where software is hosted by a provider and made available to customers over the Internet. These applications are commonly referred to as web-based software, hosted software, and on-demand software. You can access SaaS applications from your web browser. A company can use APIs to integrate its SaaS application with other software. For example, Gmail, messaging software, etc.

Fact: Cloud computing services are usually collectivised by the name XAAS, i.e., Anything as a Service.
