Photoshop comes loaded with tools, a lot that you’ll probably never even use. This can cause your Photoshop Toolbar to come unnecessarily cluttered.

However, there’s an easy way to fix that.

Access the Toolbar dialog in the Edit menu

Head to the Edit menu and select Toolbar to access the Toolbar dialog. You’ll see two columns, the one on the left represents the tools you’ll see in your toolbar, and the one on the right represents tools that are hidden from the main view.

Hide tools or group of tools in the right column

Simply drag and drop tools in the right column to hide them on your toolbar.

Easily group layers by dragging them together

And in the left column you can group and ungroup tools and even change the default hotkeys, considering they’re not already being used.

Rename the hotkeys for your tools so you can easily access them with your keyboard

For tools that are grouped with the same hotkey, you can just hold Shift and tap the hotkey until the tool is selected in your Photoshop Toolbar.

Here’s where you can access the tools that you hid from the main view

And for the tools you hid, don’t worry, you can still access them right here.
