While walking through the convention hall of SXSW Edu in Austin, exploring the latest learning technologies, I was captivated by the big promises each product seemed to hold for “transforming” our learning journeys.

It’s easy to get dazzled by the shiny user interfaces and interesting-looking features.

As a learning science nerd, I’ve dug deeper into neuroscience, brain research, and cognitive psychology to understand evidence-based principles that support learning.
