At Skiplist, we know that in order to foster an environment to imagine and create thoughtful software, we need a diverse mix of skills, backgrounds, and voices to make sure we’re watching each other’s blind spots. Skiplist is 3 colleagues, turned friends, who want to see change and significant value add to businesses through the development and production of thoughtful, quality software products, without compromising core values. So let’s jump in and get to know them, shall we?

Andrew Wolfe, CEO and Founder

Andrew has an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech University. But he prides himself over 10 years of experience working in the software industry for well-known companies such as Diebold, Tableau, Explorys, and Onshift. After years in the corporate and startup worlds as well as running his own consulting firm, Andrew realized he had to do more to improve software products and practices. From that, Skiplist was born. Skiplist is the opportunity to focus on thoughtful, quality software and change the software consulting industry.

JT Tan, Vice President of Product and Partner

JT has an M.S. in Science and Technology Entrepreneurship, as well as a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Music (Piano Performance). He brings 10+ years of experience in new product strategy, development, and management. Leveraging his background in Behavioral Neuroscience, JT applies a scientific lens to product and development performance to create usable outcomes analytics, which are critical to correcting course toward product/market fit and healthy development processes. Driven by a passion for new value creation and community-building, JT is a dedicated listener with broad exposure to a variety of high-tech startups (Teraphysics / Socrates Analytics (UH) / OnShift / Timocco) that span different technologies, stages, and industries with a specific concentration in healthcare. JT will help you stop “flying blind” so that you can validate what’s built is actually achieving your intended business success.

Justin Beall, Vice President of Engineering and Partner

Software engineer of 10+ years, craftsman, XP advocate, budding agile technical coach, product management/owner curious, believer in growth mindset, multiplier, servant leader, and fierce learner. Justin holds a B.S. in Computer Science from The University of Akron and spent 6 years as a Combat Medic in the Ohio Army National Guard. Throughout his career, he has worked with local government entities, insurance companies, and manufacturing companies. As a result, he he refuses to be in ANY position that is considered a cost center for a business. His last three ventures have been with SaaS startups, and the culture of personal growth and learning became intoxicating. It has positioned him to begin his venture with Skiplist and prepare to transform the software industry.
