At the Startup Extreme conference earlier this summer, CEO Monica Vaksdal of Think Outside shared the story of how she transitioned from a career in the oil industry to the startup life. After more than 15 years in technical and non-technical positions in the oil industry, primarily in the exploration side of the industry, she seized the opportunity to take the leap into new markeds when the oil priced droppet and the company she worked for was acquired by a new Oslo-based oil company.
The story has attracted interest by several media, and has been featured in Norwegian and Swedish publications.
