TEAM SKOOT IS EXPANDING

Today we wanted to shout out two of our amazing new “friends”.

Firstly, Dan Leitão, who has come on board as Director of Product to shake things up and take the SKOOT App to new levels.

Not trying to honk our own horn here, but we really know how to hire the best! Dan has more than 10 years of experience in the product space and has co-founded two companies of his own.

He was previously at Photobox where he oversaw successfully relaunching their mobile apps business. Prior to that, Dan worked at Onfido where he managed their Document Checking Products, leveraging machine learning to increase fraud detection, as well as helped grow a very talented Product Management organisation.

He asked us to throw in something about user-centric design to big him up, but we prefer to focus on the fact he is a Liverpool fan. Yay or nay? Footie is a BIG topic at team SKOOT.

Either way, we wanted to welcome our newest SKOOTer Dan as he takes the lead on product strategy. We know he is going to grow world-class product organisation.

Secondly, we wanted to welcome Sabrina Chisin, who has come on board as Community Manager and is taking the reigns on all things social at SKOOT.

Sabrina has a diverse background having worked across Influencer Marketing, Business Development, Client Services, and Social Strategy while founding 2 companies, and also running her own YouTube channel.

Sabrina has lived and worked in South Africa, London, Rome, and Austria and we are excited for her to bring a unique and global outlook on how we engage with the SKOOT community online.

Plus, who knows what countries SKOOT will be launching in next! 👀

We like to think of her as a bit of a copywriting ninja, so watch out for some quick-witted online commentary that we can’t take any credit for. (Although, we hired her so we can 😎).
