and that I once knew alternative treatments in a former incarnation-
mixtures of bacterial knowhow — the kind of witchery that maybe I hid under cloak and petticoat for fear of flames

the alchemy of the moment then — a trove of tools in this life — to conjure just what’s needed when the clocks skip an hour for tradition or pranks on the insomniacs among us —

intuition has a home here — alignment with the attraction of my dreams
like lucid imagination, we may not control the outcome, but at least we can change the path

here on earth, we don’t subscribe to illusion, yet we do — every one of us has sent a wish into the wind, forgetting we have the resources, all we need.
