Women’s Worth

Secrets locked within
the hearts of a woman
when said out loud
will either heal her or destroy others around her
if we are born with the weakness
we are born with strength too
dangerously fierce
we are flowers that bloom bright
it is our grace how we remain kind
it is our power how we remain soft
when the world does nothing but breaks her down
wondering why she doesn’t rise?
Witnessing only her destruction
they don’t see the shine in her eyes
Holding behind her tears & fears she hides
she guards her loyal tender heart
and we all forget she needs to be shine too
as a broken star or as a whole moon!
