Announcing the Slack Platform Euro Tour: 2018

The Slack Platform team is heading to Europe this November to meet all of the builders and developers changing the way people work and collaborate. After stops in six cities across Europe, the tour will culminate in a larger event in London the day after Slack Frontiers.

Apps are a fundamental part of bringing work into Slack, but the Slack Platform isn’t just a set of APIs — it’s a global community with the resources, support, and tools you need to be successful. Join an event to connect with your local Slack developer community (and maybe make a few new friends!), learn about new ways Slack is improving app stability, distribution, and control, and sneak an early look at upcoming products. There will be plenty of time to meet the Platform team, and share your ideas and feedback on the Slack roadmap.

In London, you’ll learn about the latest updates on Missions, a tool recently acquired by Slack that will make it easy for anyone in a company to automate processes and tasks. You’ll get a deeper look at Block Kit, a new UI framework for designing app interactions in Slack, and learn how it’s being used in the real world by MailClark, a shared inbox software. You’ll have the opportunity for some 1:1 time with the Slack Platform team when you visit one of the Slack Stations during the reception where you can talk shop and give feedback. One hundred percent of proceeds from Slack Developers: London will be donated to Re:Coded, an organization using technology and entrepreneurship to create innovative, socially-minded leaders in conflict-affected countries.
