Hey SJ Community,

We’re pretty dang stoked for our second Slackjaw: LIVE. In addition to featuring six stellar SJ writers, we’re speaking with Johnathan Appel, an Emmy Award-winning writer from Last Week Tonight With John Oliver.
He’ll be sharing a rejected LWT pitch as well as answering questions on
“How to Write Topical Political Satire.”

Have questions for Johnathan? E-mail them to host Emily Menez at menezemily@gmail.com by Friday, 3/14.

The show is at Caveat in NYC on Monday, March 31st at 7 PM Eastern.
